Break through the 19 then 18 minute mark for 5K

USATF Age Group All American times in 200 (24.6), 400 (56.0) and 800 (2:11)

Qualify and run Boston before I hit 50... but after I complete my sprint goals

My little weekly north loop time trial didn't go so well this morning.  Took it a bit easier on the 1.75 mi warm up today (8:20 pace), but never really got in a rhythm on the .8 mi loop section - ran 5:18 and expected to dip under 5.  Was really hungry, so maybe it was lack of nutrients - not sure.

Must have been the "return to normal workweek" that caused it. I had the same experience today at lunch.

Certainly a possibility as I have been sleeping and eating more on the teenagers' schedule than on my typical schedule for the past couple weeks. Track work tomorrow, but maybe I'll do the loop again Thurs or Fri after getting more into the routine again.
