Early run in the neighborhood before heading to an all day track meet - shooting pics for flrunners.com today - should be fun.  And Travis runs 1600, 800 and 4x400 - what a deal.

Well, the boychild came through with a legit sub-4:30 PR, going 4:26.35 - not too shabby.  Came back an hour later with a 2:02 in the 800 and another hour later ran a 51.6 second leg in the 4x400 - pretty good day.  And I successfully shot 2,300 pics during the just under 8 hour meet - getting too old for this stuff.

I've been out of range for a couple days. Pass along my congratulations to Travis.

Avoiding that 3200 like the plague I see! Good call - that race might as well be a marathon.

Now that he has a 1600 he's somewhat pleased with, he may indeed go for a sub-10 3200 one last time at City Champs on Tuesday. Lookin like he will do the 4x8 and 3200. Post season events are likely to be 4x8, 1600, 800.
