Break through the 19 then 18 minute mark for 5K

USATF Age Group All American times in 200 (24.6), 400 (56.0) and 800 (2:11)

Qualify and run Boston before I hit 50... but after I complete my sprint goals

Pretty good race this morning on the hilly 10K Springtime Tally course.  A bit crowded for first half mile, but went 6:38 for the mostly downhill mile 1.  The mostly downhill last mile was 6:44, and all the hilly ones in the middle were between 7:10 and 7:15.  Really felt fine the whole way and think I could have gone sub 42 if I was in the mood.  Just kinda ran this one for the fun of it - and that it was.

That's real progress Doug. There is no doubt that you could run a lot faster than that with just a few more weeks of consistent training and a willingness to suffer a little more.

The suffering part is the hard part.

Exactly - I'm just not prepared to suffer much at this point... I like to limit my suffering to one or two or maybe four laps around a track, max.
